Last week I babysat for a friend. Nolan and Connor did a lot of playing and interacting but it was so interesting to watch them 'parallel play'. I've heard this term before but really have never seen it in action since Nolan wasn't always a great player. He'd rather be running into my arms or grabbing what another child was playing with just to be possessive. So to watch Nolan and Connor play and even switch spots but still not fighting over the particular dino was really awesome.
Also featured is Nolan counting. He gets to 14 before he gets one wrong, he continues to amaze me. Don't mind the 'eleven-teen'. I'm sure that will sort itself out soon.
