Yesterday was one of the first days it was truly cold. When we woke up the temps were in the 40s and stayed that way for most of the day. While it's not winter-coat-cold, it is hood or hat cold. So we bundled up and went to the playground for a swing.
Nolan didn't seem to even notice his hat but when I put the mittens on him it was as though he no longer had hands. He didn't hold onto anything, he just held his hands out- making swinging a little bit of a challenge.
Eventually he used his hands but then slumped in the swing like this
And stayed that way for several minutes until I pulled him out assuming he was tired. But he wasn't. So I put him back in for more swinging and he slumped like this again. What a funny kid.
